Skincare trends in Asia: seeking opportunities across a diverse region

Currently, Asia holds half of the global skincare market and shows strong potential for growth. However, the region has various local differences and it is difficult to fully understand what is happening in this category if we only consider the region as a whole. Within Asia – China, Japan, and South Korea are the biggest markets and leading the trends and sales in the region.

In this presentation, we will look at Euromonitor’s statistics and consumer insights to identify the differences in Asia, putting a focus on Japan. China and South Korea. Furthermore, we will explore future opportunities by finding similarities between the countries such as the changes in consumer’s purchase behaviour, the rise of men’s skincare, and other key trends.
