This presentation showcases pigments that are surface treated with natural ingredients and their effect in color cosmetic formulations.

The purpose of the study is to illustrate how natural treated pigments can provide improved aesthetics versus untreated pigments. Lipstick formulations containing either treated or untreated pigments  were evaluated for uniformity, moist feel, creaminess and adhesion to the lips.

Results indicate significant differences in overall aesthetics using naturally treated pigments versus untreated pigments.
