Dr. Chang Seo Park is currently a professor of Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Dongguk University in Seoul, Korea. He also served as director of National Coordination Center for Global Cosmetic R&D (NCR) until 2010 for 8 years and president of The Korean Society for Skin Barrier Research for two years.

He got a BS degree in microbiology at the Seoul National University and Ph.D. degree from UC Davis in yeast molecular genetics. He developed ceramide 3 using yeast fermentation process in 1998 at Doosan.

He worked for Doosan until 2005 as a Research Director before moved to Dongguk University. His research fields are sphingolipids and skin barrier function.
